Board Manager lets users easily administer boards, member appointments and vacancy applications through a unified interface
25 September 2018 – Markham, Ontario: eSCRIBE – a leading provider of cloud-based meeting management solutions for public sector boards and councils – today unveiled eSCRIBE Board Manager, the latest offering in the company’s expanding array of solutions for streamlining organizations’ governance management workflows. Available on its own or as an integrated option for eSCRIBE’s comprehensive meeting management system, the new software lets municipalities, school districts, hospitals and other public sector entities easily manage their boards, member appointments, vacancies and applications through an intuitive, unified interface.
“Even in today’s increasingly digital world, many public sector organizations are still managing their boards manually with spreadsheets, paper-filled binders and emailed vacancy applications,” said Benson Lu, director of software development at eSCRIBE. “Publishing member, meeting and vacancy data on their website can also be cumbersome, often requiring manual edits to multiple pages and assistance from their IT or communications department. Board Manager lets users handle all facets of their boards online in one convenient location, saving significant time and costs while easily presenting up-to-date information to the public.”
Board Manager’s intuitive dashboard gives users at-a-glance visibility of important items and lets them administer board and member data, identify upcoming term expiries and handle applications for vacancies through a fully-responsive, browser-based interface. The software includes templates for board information, member details and vacancy applications can be tailored to each organization’s needs.
One-click publishing lets customers effortlessly present board, member and vacancy information to the public in an easy-to-navigate format while integrating seamlessly with their existing website to preserve their branding. The public can apply for vacancies directly through the organization’s website, and users can review, search and take action on submitted applications – such as approving, rejecting or sharing the application with internal stakeholders – within the Board Manager dashboard.
The Plus version of Board Manager can be integrated seamlessly with eSCRIBE’s meeting management platform to associate boards with their meetings, forming an efficient, end-to-end workflow. Meeting schedules can be presented on the public-facing website alongside the associated board information, and changes in board membership can be automatically reflected in eSCRIBE Meeting Manager for future sessions.
“While eSCRIBE is best known for our comprehensive meeting management platform, we continue to grow our product range to provide public-sector organizations with one-stop shopping for all of their legislative and governance management needs,” said Robert Treumann, President and CEO of eSCRIBE. “Board Manager is an ideal complement to our highly-regarded Meeting Manager, forming a powerful combination for new customers while adding more value for existing eSCRIBE users.”
eSCRIBE Board Manager will be available next month. For more information about eSCRIBE and Board Manager, please visit www.escribemeetings.com/board-manager-announcement or email email@example.com.
